Customer Review: Best kept secret for paring

My husband had a curved paring knife in his kitchen from before I met him. (Why? I'll never know since he doesn't cook much.) Once I figured out that it was for peeling fruit, I couldn't live without it. The curved edge insures a larger paring surface and less wasted fruit. I liked this knife so much I bought another so that I'd always have one on hand. When my mother visited, she too loved it and insisted we go to the store to get one for her. Fortunately, we were able to get the last one in stock. For Christmas, I discovered that the local stores no longer carried it, so I ordered one from Amazon.
This brand is the same as the one my mother and I have, and so far it's been quite handy. I haven't really asked the person I gave this specific model to about her experience, but I have no reason to believe that she's dissatisfied. In fact, I notice that she has it conveniently located in the first slot of her knife holder.
